Description
Application:
Simply add FFS-480 to the system in the appropriate quantity and and allow it to circulate for at least 5 min.
Reduce ambient brightness as much as possible and examine all areas using a UV light or blue light system After repairing and cleaning the leaks with degreaser or the usual cleaner, simply run and check the system again.
Recommended dosage: 0.1 – 0.8% depending on the intensity of the carrier fluid.
30 ml FFS-480 is sufficient for approximately:
30 l light, liquid oils, such as hydraulic oil
15 l thicker, darker oils, such as compressor oil, dark hydraulic and lubricating fluids
11 l engine oil or 3.75 l gear oil
Store dark and cool (below 40°C).
Application examples:
Is a tank leaking (oil leakage) or you want to stop a leakage at an oil pump, for example? Then our FFS-480 leak detection dye is the right tool to stop the oil loss. Our UV dyes even help to permanently reduce oil consumption by mixing the oil cycle with the fluorescent dye, so to speak, preventively. This allows you to regularly check the valves, seals, welds, etc. with a UV LED lamp and thus save a lot of money permanently. Other applications include: Stop oil pump leakage, reduce ships/tank lubricating oil consumption, leakage Warner boat engine or a leak look at the ship’s fuel pump.
